Hello and welcome to the web page of Gorse Hill Baptist Church. I do hope that you find something here of the flavour which goes to make up this Church. The folk who are part of the Church here are just ordinary people with all the usual sets of jobs, families and friends, but we are also people who enjoy a real relationship with God. Ordinary but special, being followers of Jesus Christ has changed and continues to change or lives. Being a follower of God is not easy. We are not super-saints here. Like you we have the same kind of pressures of life rents and mortgages to pay, shopping to do, families to raise and care for, but God has given us a new way of life that is daily refreshed by Him, as we follow Him. Amongst us you will find teachers, nurses, professional business people, security guards, car workers, secretaries, doctors, policemen, students and school children. You will find Mums and Dads, Singles, Pensioners, people just like yourself. All these folks go to make up the family of Christians here at Gorse Hill Baptist Church. This then is the Church not a building or an Institution, but a group of people who are finding satisfaction in knowing God. Here in Gorse Hill Baptist Church you will find people from all walks of life who have decided to put Jesus Christ as a foundation and not just a decoration in their life. We are discovering that despite our backgrounds, Christianity is enjoyable, life-changing and exciting.
